Position Title: DIRECTOR OF DINING SERVICES III at St. Thomas Highlands
Reports To: Systems Director
Schedule: Full time; Monday through Friday; weekends as needed. More details are available upon interviewing.

Job SummaryAs the Director of Dining Services, you will be responsible for the day to day food service operations of the food & nutrition department including patient meals and the retail cafe. This is a small dining operation in a hospital setting. You will manage, develop, and direct a team of about 7 employees, build client relationships, and ensure profitability and quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversees all P&L and budgeting as it pertains to the account
- Maintains excellent relationships with the client
- Works with the Chef and management team in creating nutritious and top quality food for the students
- Implements new culinary programs in conjunction with the Company marketing and culinary teams
- Acts as a liaison between the Company, Client, and the community
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three years of food service management experience preferably in dining operations
- Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience is desirable
- Strong supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to communicate on various levels to include management, client, customer and associate levels
- Excellent financial, budgetary, accounting and computational skills
- Proficient computer skills to include; various computer programs, Microsoft Office programs, e-mail and the Internet
- ServSafe® Certified
