We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Heavy Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling large and complex equipment, ensuring precise builds, and maintaining high-quality standards. You will work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, rotating through various production tasks while maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.
Responsibilities- Collect all components required for each assembly task
- Install bearings, bushings, and other key parts into machine components
- Assemble large and complex equipment made of multiple sub-assemblies
- Follow assembly drawings to ensure precise builds
- Inspect assemblies to guarantee proper fit and function
- Communicate any issues or delays to management
- Mount mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems onto machines
- Rotate through various production tasks and conduct quality inspections
- Prepare finished products for shipment and maintain a clean, orderly workspace
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly
- Experience working with hand and power tools
- Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints and assembly drawings
- Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to use drill presses and hydraulic/manual presses
- Organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills with a critical thinking mindset
- Drive for continuous improvement and willingness to learn
You will work in a machine shop environment, handling various mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. The workspace is equipped with drill presses and hydraulic/manual presses. Maintaining a clean and orderly workspace is essential.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $68640.00/hr.
