Job Description

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for the repair and maintenance of all industrial equipment within the facility. This includes lines of conveyors that transport green beans and bell peppers. The technician will assist the maintenance manager with the installation of preventive maintenance (PMs) throughout the facility and ensure that production machinery, particularly conveyor systems, operates with minimal downtime.

Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain all industrial equipment in the facility.
  • Assist the maintenance manager with the installation of preventive maintenance (PMs).
  • Keep production machinery, especially conveyor systems, running with minimal downtime.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform electrical work up to 480v.
  • Repair conveyor systems and fix 3 phase motors.
Essential Skills
  • Electrical troubleshooting.
  • Repairing conveyor systems.

Work Environment

This position operates on the 1st shift from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with the possibility of working 10-12 hour days until the team is fully staffed. During the busy season, particularly around Thanksgiving, the workweek can extend to 55-60 hours. The plant maintains a temperature of 40 degrees, so employees should dress warmly in coats and gloves. Company uniforms are provided after the first month.

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $62400.00
