Compounding Pharmacy Tech

HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Compounding Pharmacy Tech to fill an opening with a large managed care organization in Jacksonville, FL.

Daily Responsibilities for a Compounding Pharmacy Tech:

  • Processing non-compound prescriptions and verifying appropriate information
  • Sterile compounding of prescriptions
  • inventory management
  • Shift: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm M-F
  • Dress code: scrubs

Required Qualifications for a Compounding Pharmacy Tech:
  • 2+ years retail, mail order, long-term care, or hospital experience as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Active Florida Pharmacy Tech License
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • 6+ months of Sterile compounding in an IV room as a Pharmacy Technician (Preferred)
