Paralegal - Bankruptcy

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, while also follow processes adn procedures so the team can operate like a well-oiled machine.


MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS' BANKRUPTCY EXPERIENCE.


This is an in-house position. No remote applicants, please.

Compensation:

$55,000 - $65,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare Bankruptcy petitions, client correspondence, draft pleadings, etc.
  • Manage files to ensure they move forward per Firm processes & procedures
  • Meet with clients in person or via telephone/zoom
  • Manage court docket
  • Prepare files for court hearings
  • Assist clients with 341 prep and attendance
  • Work with lawyers on all aspects of client matters
Qualifications:
  • Must have great time-management skills, and organizational skills
  • Talented communicator and writer
  • 3+ years of legal service experience under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting
