Soliant Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated High School Special Education Teacher to join our team near Narberth, PA 19072. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to support high school students with diverse learning needs in an inclusive and dynamic educational environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to the unique academic and social-emotional needs of high school students.
• Specialized Instruction: Provide targeted instruction in both individual and group settings to students with varying disabilities, ensuring they receive the acmodations and modifications necessary to succeed in their coursework.
• Classroom Management: Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and academic growth.
• Collaboration: Work closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to ensure that students receive appropriate support and interventions within the least restrictive environment.
• Behavioral Support: Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) as needed to support student behavior and foster social-emotional development.
• Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student performance through data collection and adjust instructional methods based on student progress toward IEP goals.
• Parent munication: Maintain regular munication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, challenges, and strategies for support both at school and at home.

Qualifications:

• A valid Emergency Teaching Certification in Pennsylvania (required).
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field (preferred but not required with emergency certification).
• Experience working with high school students with disabilities is a plus.
• Strong understanding of IEP development, behavior management strategies, and differentiated instruction.
• Excellent munication and collaboration skills.
• A passion for working with students with special needs and a desire to help them succeed academically and socially.
