Soliant Health is currently seeking an experienced Retail Pharmacist for a 13-week assignment in Lake Isabella, CA. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a munity-focused pharmacy setting, providing essential services to the local population.

Position Details:

  • Location: Lake Isabella, CA
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (9 am 6 pm). No weekends.
  • EMR System: CPSI/Evident

Job Description:
The ideal candidate will perform all duties required by law in the safe and efficient dispensing of prescriptions, including those for Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) patients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising all ancillary personnel while on duty.
  • Counseling patients/customers as needed.
  • Ensuring accurate interpretation, clarification, and fulfillment of prescription orders.
  • Maintaining meticulous records for controlled substances, inventory, and prescription documentation, in pliance with regulations.
  • Overseeing pharmacy technicians and clerks, coordinating workflow, and ensuring billing accuracy.
  • Assisting the PIC with onboarding new services to the munity, adapting to challenges as they arise.

Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Current and valid California Pharmacy License.
  • Education: BS in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
  • Experience & Skills:
    • Minimum 1-2 years of retail pharmacy experience.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • Knowledge of PrimeCare (QS1) is a plus.
    • Excellent munication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
    • Strong attention to detail, integrity, passion, and empathy.
