Job Description:We are seeking a Telepractice Speech Language Pathologist to join our school district. Offer remote speech therapy services to students, ensuring their communication needs are met effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities using teletherapy platforms to connect with students remotely.

  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address students specific communication and swallowing goals, aligning them with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

  • Deliver engaging and interactive therapy sessions via teletherapy, employing innovative techniques to enhance student participation and progress.

  • Collaborate with school teams, including teachers, special education staff, and administrators, to provide coordinated care and support for students with speech and language needs.

  • Monitor and assess students' progress regularly, making data-driven adjustments to treatment plans to support their academic and social-emotional development.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and IEP-related records, ensuring compliance with school policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required.

  • Valid state license or eligibility for licensure in the state of residence.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in schools, with teletherapy experience preferred.

  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practice in speech-language pathology.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients and build rapport remotely.

  • Proficiency in using teletherapy platforms and technology for remote service delivery.

  • This is a fully remote position, allowing flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere within the United States.
