Pay: $20 an hour

Shift: 8am-5:30pm Monday-Friday

Job Description

The Materials Associate Level I will be responsible for ensuring efficient operations of the warehouse and inventory control. The position will coordinate and perform a variety of tasks including shipping and receiving, storage, transportation, material handling, inventory control, and replenishments.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming materials and compare information on packing slips with purchase orders to verify accuracy of shipment.
• Sort, count, and label inventory.
• Maintain inventory control of all incoming materials.
• Contact carrier to make arrangements and issue instructions for shipping and delivery of orders.
• Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies.
• Deliver materials and supplies to requisitioning department.
• Assure accurate inventory counts and inventory balance information is maintained.
• Support the daily production schedule.
• Perform cycle count activities.
• Manage hazardous waste inventory and schedule waste pick-up.
• Generate all required shipping documents accurately.
• Maintain the Material Data Sheet binder updated.

• ERP knowledge for tracking inventory between sites.

• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Driving company van between Mahwah and Allendale daily.
• Organizing warehouses in both locations.
• Lifting 50lb boxes.
• Packaging.
• General labor.
• Using a pallet jack.
