Job Description:

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for a professional with strong accounting knowledge and a passion for accuracy. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing general ledger entries, preparing financial reports, and assisting with month-end close processes.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Prepare journal entries and ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations
  • Assist with audits and ensure compliance with accounting regulations
  • Work with accounts payable and receivable to ensure accurate financial tracking
  • Support the month-end and year-end close process
  • Assist with tax filings and ensure timely payments
  • Collaborate with team members on financial projects and improvements


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a corporate environment
  • Proficiency in accounting software SAP, Netsuite
  • Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools

Pay: $30 - $40 per hr.
