Schools - Paraprofessional

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMinimum 1+ years paraprofessional or special education experience required.
We are currently working with a district in Azusa, California that is in need of an experience special education assistant for the remainder of this school year. This position will be full time and will offer up to $28/hour.

Job Type:

• Full time
• 30-35 hours per week
• Autism, ADHD, trauma + intellectual disabilities
• Working with variety of age groups
• Must have behavior experience or prior experience working as a paraprofessional in a school setting
• Offering $28/hour
• Working with special education students and students with intellectual/physical disabilities
• Candidate must be prepared to work with various special education behaviors, including but not limited to; aggression, biting, eloping, redirection, toileting, diapering,various medical need, etc.

Qualifications:

• Degree preferred
• In schools experience preferred
• Fingerprinting, drug screen, TB test & background check will be required of all candidates
• Special educationexperiencerequired
