MEDICAL BILLING JOB OPPORTUNITY AVAILALBE

MONDAY - FRIDAY 9AM-530PM

MELVILLE, NY

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of medical billing experience
  • Hospital billing experience preferred
  • EMR experience
  • ICD/CPT knowledge

Responsibilities:

  • Verifying accuracy of patient insurance and demographic information.
  • Perform follow up on all outstanding accounts assigned in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Place Out Bound Calls to Insurance for Status of Outstanding Claims.
  • Analyze Remittance/Explanation of Benefits.
  • Submit Appeals for Denials and/or Underpayments.
  • Determine Patient Responsibility.
  • Verify Insurance Coverage, Contact Guarantor Regarding Insurance Discrepancies.
