Job Description

As a Machine Operator, you will work closely with the production crew to filter closures through machines, forming them into specific size capsules based on customer needs. You will be responsible for palletizing products and preparing orders for shipment. Additionally, you will organize products to ensure work orders are correctly stored and perform heavy lifting up to 20lbs throughout the shift.

Responsibilities
  • Operate machines to form closures into specified sizes.
  • Palletize products and prepare orders for shipment.
  • Organize products to ensure correct storage of work orders.
  • Perform heavy lifting up to 20lbs throughout the shift.
  • Move pallets with a pallet jack and get certified if necessary.
  • Pour materials from boxes into the machine (Base Tank).
  • Work in a fast-paced production environment following GMPs.
  • Ensure accuracy on capsules and conduct basic quality checks.
  • Troubleshoot and inspect bottling and palletizing processes.
  • Conduct quality control tests and maintain the machine.
Essential Skills
  • At least 2 years of production or warehouse experience.
  • Good attention to detail skills.
  • Good attendance record, especially in a small crew environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow GMPs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in bottling line or medical device assembly preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer for quality tests.
  • Experience with machine operation, production, and warehouse tasks.

Work Environment

The work environment is a small warehouse/production setting, which can be loud due to the capsule machines and the sound of metal capsules clanking. The facility has four people per shift, promoting close collaboration. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, full-length pants or jeans, no shorts, no jewelry, and no fake nails or lashes. GMPs must be followed at all times. Hair nets and beard covers will be provided.
