Part-Time School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Stockton, CA

Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our school-based team in Stockton, CA. This role involves working collaboratively with another experienced OT to support a caseload of 60 students across 13 school sites. The position is scheduled for Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, allowing for focused, high-quality interventions within a supportive and collaborative environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an OT who is passionate about helping students develop essential life skills and succeed in their academic and social environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to students as specified in individualized education plans (IEPs) across elementary, middle, and high school settings.
  • Work collaboratively with another OT to share a diverse caseload of 60 students across 13 school sites.
  • Implement therapy sessions designed to enhance students fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, and adaptive skills.
  • Develop and adapt therapeutic activities to be functional and age-appropriate.
  • Conduct assessments and regularly monitor progress to adjust therapy goals as needed.
  • Document session notes, progress reports, and other required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with school staff, including teachers and support personnel, to provide insights and recommendations for integrating therapeutic strategies into the classroom.
  • Participate in IEP meetings to contribute to the development of student-centered goals and strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Current California Occupational Therapy license.
  • Experience working in school settings or with children and adolescents is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with another OT and school staff.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working across multiple school sites.

Schedule and Compensation:

  • Part-time schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
  • Starting pay: $50 per hour.
