Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Branchville, New Jersey. Working both on-site and from home, the specialist will be part of our Insurance industry team, where they will handle a high volume of accounts payable tasks.

Responsibilities:
• Accurately process full-cycle accounts payable
• Handle three-way matching and processing
• Utilize accounting software systems effectively for data entry and management
• Perform account coding and accrual accounting tasks
• Conduct auditing of payable accounts to ensure accuracy
• Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions
• Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Communicate effectively, ensuring strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.• Proficiency in Account Coding, showcasing a deep understanding of financial categorization and record-keeping.

• Experience with Accounting Software Systems, demonstrating familiarity with digital tools for financial management and reporting.

• In-depth knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including vendor management, invoice processing, and payment scheduling.

• Proficiency in Accrual Accounting, exemplifying a sound understanding of recognizing revenues and expenses when they are earned or incurred, not when cash is exchanged.

• Experience in Auditing, demonstrating the ability to review, analyze, and validate financial records and transactions.

• Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions, showcasing familiarity with electronic fund transfer processes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of advanced functions for financial data analysis and reporting.
