Structural Engineer

We are seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join our growing team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, including commercial, industrial, institutional, and high-rise buildings, as well as unique residential and special-use structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, including experience with steel, concrete, masonry, and timber systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, performing calculations, and preparing drawings for various projects. This includes site visits to assess project needs, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and managing project timelines from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and design structural systems using materials such as steel, aluminum, concrete, masonry, and timber.
  • Oversee the structural engineering aspects of assigned projects, including calculations and drawings.
  • Conduct site assessments to determine project needs and ensure design integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work closely with other team members and clients to ensure project specifications are met and timelines maintained.
  • Ensure that all designs comply with local, state, and federal safety codes and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering (with a structural concentration).
  • Experience in structural engineering design and calculations.
  • Familiarity with structural software such as RAM Structural System, RAM Elements, or similar. Working knowledge of AutoCAD and REVIT.
  • Strong technical skills with a keen eye for detail, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
