Are you a compassionate and dedicated School Psychologist looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students? Soliant Education is currently seeking a qualified School Psychologist to join our team near Vallejo, CA. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with K-6 students for the remainder of this academic year, with the possibility of renewal for the 24/25 SY.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments to evaluate students' academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Interpret assessment results and collaborate with school teams to develop appropriate intervention plans and support services.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed, promoting positive mental health and well-being.
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to address individual student needs and promote a supportive learning environment.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and other multidisciplinary team meetings to support the development and implementation of student plans.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in School Psychology.
  • Experience conducting psycho-educational assessments and interpreting assessment data.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Position Details:

  • Position Type: Full-time, Monday through Friday
  • Hours: 8 hours per day
  • Duration: ASAP - 6/7/24 for the remainder of this academic year, followed by 184 days starting around August 11th for the 24/25 school year
  • Caseload: K-6 for remainder of this year, potentially expanding to include secondary students for the next school year
  • Location: Vallejo, CA
  • Pay: Weekly pay, negotiable based on experience
