Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for Kansas Schools

VocoVision & ProCare Therapyare looking for a compassionate and experienced Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work with Kansas schools. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while allowing you to provide essential speech therapy services that help children develop crucial communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication skills using teletherapy platforms.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment findings and student needs.
  • Provide virtual therapy sessions to address speech and language disorders, including articulation, language delays, fluency, and voice disorders.
  • Collaborate effectively with school staff, parents, and caregivers to support student progress and achieve therapy goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation required for IEP meetings and compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in professional development activities and stay current with advancements in the field of speech-language pathology and teletherapy.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Kansas state licensure or eligibility to be licensed.
  • Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, families, and colleagues.
