Job Description

This role involves assisting on the Flexo machines, which fold, stack, and package corrugated boxes. These boxes are similar to those you receive from online retailers or large warehouse stores. The job involves feeding raw stock into the machines and can vary day-to-day, although each task may be repetitive. The role requires lifting 20-40 lbs consistently.

Responsibilities
  • Assist on Flexo machines to fold, stack, and package products.
  • Feed raw stock into the machines.
  • Perform general labor tasks.
  • Handle packaging and inspection duties.
  • Load and operate machinery.
  • Set up and adjust machine settings.
  • Operate a forklift when necessary.
Essential Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to lift 20-40 lbs consistently.
  • Ability to stand on feet for 8-10 hours per day.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with machine operation and adjustments.
  • Forklift operation skills.

Work Environment

The work environment is a noisy facility with Flexo and corrugated packaging machines, similar to those found in large printing and packaging companies. The facility is clean and organized, with all equipment being less than 10 years old. The production helper will work on the 3rd shift (Sunday – Thursday, 11 PM – 7 AM) with opportunities for overtime. The facility operates with a smaller team of about 50 employees on the shop floor.
