We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time position in a school setting in Seattle, WA.
Job Description:
As a Part-Time LPN, you will play a crucial role in supporting the health and well-being of students. You will work collaboratively with school staff to ensure students receive the care and attention they need to thrive in their educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid.
- Support students with chronic health conditions, such as diabetes or asthma.
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized health plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Current LPN license in the state of Washington.
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based nursing is preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively in medical emergencies.
- Compassionate and committed to the health and safety of students.
