Job Description:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel MedSurg/Telemetry RN for a 20-week contract in Evansville, IL. This position involves working 12-hour night shifts at a well-regarded facility. As a MedSurg/Telemetry RN, you will provide comprehensive care for patients in both medical-surgical and telemetry units. This role requires flexibility and a strong ability to handle a range of patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in medical-surgical and telemetry units.
  • Monitor and manage patients with telemetry needs, including those with cardiac conditions.
  • Collaborate with medical teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Perform assessments, administer medications, and document patient progress.
  • Provide patient education and support, ensuring optimal care and recovery.

Qualifications:

  • RN license required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in MedSurg and Telemetry nursing.
  • Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and medical-surgical care.
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts consistently.
  • Must pass a background check, drug screen, and complete onboarding in compliance with the Joint Commission.
  • Ability to adhere to the 50-mile radius rule (local candidates will not be considered).
