Job Description:

Soliant Education is seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Education Teacher for a full-time, on-site role in the Lang, CA area. This position is available for the 2024-2025 school year, focusing on elementary students.

As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting and enhancing the educational experiences of students with diverse learning needs. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), providing tailored instruction, and working collaboratively with educators and parents to foster a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the needs of each student.
  • Provide direct instruction and support to elementary students with varying disabilities.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt and modify classroom activities and curricula.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, making necessary adjustments to instructional methods.
  • Maintain clear and open communication with parents and guardians about student progress and needs.
  • Participate in professional development and team meetings as required.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education teaching license for the state of California.
  • Experience working with elementary students with special needs is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Passion for supporting the academic and personal growth of young students.
