Supply Chain Analyst   

A client of ours is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst for a contract role. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with supply chain analysis, and a strong background in using Epic software. This role involves analyzing supply chain processes, identifying inefficiencies, and developing solutions to improve operations and reduce costs. 


Responsibilities of Supply Chain Analyst   

  • Analyze and interpret supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Utilize Epic software to manage and streamline supply chain processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and clinical departments, to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain performance.
  • Conduct regular audits of supply chain processes and recommend improvements.
  • Support the implementation of new supply chain technologies and systems.
  • Provide training and support to staff on supply chain best practices and the use of Epic software.


Skills/Qualifications of Supply Chain Analyst   

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain analysis within the healthcare/hospital industry.
  • Proficiency in Epic software is a must.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with other supply chain management software and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices in the healthcare industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
