Experienced Sander

Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking an Experienced Sander to join their team. As an Experienced Sander, you will be part of the finishing department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, ability to learn quickly, and recognize parts which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Experienced Sander & Experienced Case Fitter

Location: Morganton, NC

Pay Range: Competitive

What's the Job?

• Sand finished cases to erase all roughness between finishing processes.
• Use jitterbug sander, hand sander, or flutter sander to smooth all areas of cases between finishes before second coat and/or after sealant has been applied.
• Understand correct placement of parts, right/left sides, front/back.
• Understand and follow a finish specification for quality-oriented cuts and use of correct materials.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma/GED preferred
• 1+ years of sanding experience
• Must have ability to learn quickly and recognize parts.
• Must be able to read and understand tickets and instructions.
