New Opportunity:School Occupational Therapist for 2024 - 2025 School Year

Location: Ramona, California
Contract Term: Fall 2024-Spring 2025
Position Type:Full-time
Caseload: K-12th grade students
Compensation:$34+/hour - Experience Based

Responsibilities:

  • Assist head occupational therapist withassessments and devisingpersonalized treatment plans for students requiring occupational therapy services.
  • Foster collaboration with educators, support staff, and parents to seamlessly integrate therapy objectives into the educational framework.
  • Administer direct therapy sessions and deploy interventions to enhance students' functional capabilities.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of student progress and ensure effective communication with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field is preferred.
  • State certification or licensure specifically for school-based occupational therapy assistance.
  • Proficiency in diverse therapy techniques and interventions tailored to children.
  • Prior experience working with students possessing a variety of needs and abilities.
