We are offering a long-term contract position as an Accounting Specialist in West Deptford, New Jersey. As an Accounting Specialist, your main duties will revolve around managing customer accounts, processing customer applications, and maintaining accurate customer records.


Responsibilities


• Efficiently process customer applications related to credit

• Maintain and update customer credit records with high accuracy

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action

• Perform data entry tasks with strong attention to detail

• Fulfill order entries and process sales orders

• Undertake invoicing duties and ensure accuracy in all transactions.

• Proficient in performing data entry tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience in order fulfillment, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
• Ability to enter invoices efficiently, ensuring all financial data is captured correctly.
• Possess strong mathematical skills for managing and interpreting various financial records.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and other relevant computer applications.
• Strong analytical thinking skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve accounting issues.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with various departments.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
• Relevant certification, such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), is a plus.
• Proven experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
