Overview:Soliant is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic schoolparaprofessionalto join our team. This role is essential in providing support to students and teachers, fostering a positive and productive learning environment. The ideal candidate will hold an associate degree or have passed the ParaPro Assessment, demonstrating a strong mitment to supporting student success and contributing to a collaborative educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist classroom teachers in delivering instructional activities and managing classroom behavior.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, including those with special needs.
  • Help with the preparation and organization of instructional materials and classroom resources.
  • Support students in their academic and social development, providing encouragement and assistance as needed.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Facilitate positive classroom management and ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
  • Assist with non-instructional duties such as supervision during recess, lunch, and transitions between classes.
  • Implement and support individualized education plans (IEPs) and acmodations for students with special needs.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or higher, or successful pletion of the ParaPro Assessment.
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
  • Strong munication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting students' educational and emotional needs.
  • Ability to follow instructions, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to the needs of students and teachers.
  • Basic puter skills and familiarity with educational technology.
