Are you a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher looking to make a significant impact in a supportive educational setting? Soliant Education is seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team near Phoenix, AZ. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, creating an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, ensuring their academic and behavioral goals are achieved.
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students with varying disabilities, adapting teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and maintain effective support networks for each student.
  • Monitor and assess students' progress, making adjustments to instruction and support as needed.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, provide updates on student progress, and advocate for students' needs within the school setting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Valid Special Education certification or licensure in Arizona.
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create and implement effective instructional strategies and behavior management plans.
