Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Survey Technician to join our team. The Survey Technician will be responsible for assisting in various surveying activities and ensuring accurate data collection and analysis.
Responsabilities
Ability to operate the Trimble GPS. The company used Trimble R10 with TSC7 Data Collector. The candidate will get training.
AutoCAD Civil 3-D or Carlson. The candidate will get training.
Create material take offs from the engineer/architect's plans as well as going out into the field and collecting data to then be analyze.
Create an as-built for the project when required.
Work directly with the project superintendent, heavy machine operators, and labors and ensure the project is running according to design. Provide locations of golf course features such as greens, tees, bunkers, turning points, fairways, and ponds. Set up grade laser when installing drainage pipe or making sure there is sufficient surface flow in new graded areas.
Track the progression of the project and ensure the project is on budget.
Professional profile
Associate's Degree or higher, preferably in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Turfgrass Management.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Survey Technician;
Employment is project-based. Travel from project to project according to needs will be necessary (60% traveling);
Work will be a combination of office work and onsite work ;
Self-motivated, highly reliable, and great work ethic.
