Virtual | Chicago, Illinois School Psychologist

Seeking a Virtual School Psychologist to provide support to students in Illinois. Conduct virtual assessments, collaborate with educators and parents, deliver counseling sessions, develop intervention plans, and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to determine students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans.
  • Assist in the implementation of evidence-based interventions and strategies to enhance student success.
  • Participate in virtual multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop appropriate intervention plans.
  • Provide consultation and guidance to teachers and parents on strategies to support students' mental health and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of all interactions and interventions in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Illinois certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience in virtual school psychology preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and time management.
  • Empathy, patience, and commitment to student success.
