Location: Denton, TX
Shift: 3rd Shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
Salary: $30.00+ per hour (based on experience), with a $1.00/hr shift differential for 3rd shift. Overtime, holidays, and weekend work required.

Job Summary:
This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team focused on safety and production in a sheet feeder plant. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure optimal reliability and efficiency in the production of corrugated sheets for packaging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, including machine lubrication for reliability and uptime.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment in compliance with plant policies.
  • Work with motors, pneumatic and hydraulic components, conveyor systems, and production line equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain electrical and PLC systems.
  • Read diagrams, sketches, manuals, and specifications for installations and repairs.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and precision-measuring devices for maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to prioritize maintenance needs.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, including labor hours and preventative maintenance findings.
  • Follow all safety and environmental guidelines and actively participate in safety programs.
  • Assist in developing and implementing reliability-centered maintenance strategies.
  • Apply problem-solving methods (e.g., 5 Whys) to reduce equipment failures.
  • Work in varying industrial conditions, including hot, cold, dusty, and noisy environments.
  • Be flexible to work any shift, including holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or military environment, or a two-year mechanical maintenance degree.
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical and PLC systems.
  • Experience repairing hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and use precision measurements.
  • Experience troubleshooting bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, conveyors, rollers, pulleys, and shafts.
  • Proficiency in computer-based record-keeping and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or two years of study in Industrial Maintenance or Industrial Technology.
  • Experience with fabrication, torch cutting, and arc welding.
