Role Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing, particularly in remodeling and construction plumbing. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read blueprints, and proficiency with hand tools. As a Journeyperson Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with all safety and building codes. Our business handles commercial and residential systems.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, install, repair, and maintain new and existing plumbing systems.

• Perform inspections to identify issues and determine the most effective solutions; offer pricing to customers.

• Educate customers on proper maintenance and care of plumbing systems.

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to plan plumbing installations, in partnership with HVAC systems.

• Ensure all work is completed to code and in accordance with industry standards.

• - Boiler install/ tankless water heaters, water heaters, gas lines, and ability to rough plumb new Construction a plus.

• Maintain accurate and thorough records of all service and repair activities

Candidate Qualifications:

• Journeyman plumber's license, issued by the state of Massachusetts

• Five (5) or more years of trade experience as a journeyman plumber or apprentice.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with an ability to pivot in unconventional situations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Working technology / iPad knowledge; experience with applications such as Field Edge or Service Titan is preferred.

• Service-to-sales mindset, with a longer-term vision and desire to coach and cross-train.

• Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergency repairs and service.

• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
