Job Description
- Full time
- M-F
- 8:30am-4:00pm
- Caseload details:
- Self-Contained classroom setting
- Students have significant needs - often require assistance with toileting and feeding
- 6 students
- 2 Paraprofessionals in classroom for support
- 2 other Life Skills classrooms in the school, so there will be a full team to support the new hire
- ASAP start - end of school year
- District offers free trainings to all educators who feel they need extra knowledge in certain areas or want to progress in their career
- Tons of onsite support

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or higher
- VA Teaching License or eligible
- Certified to work with high school gradelevels in the state of Virginia
- Comfortable with toileting/feeding assistance
- Able to develop and implement IEPs while coordinating with internal departments
- Comfortable collaborating with other teachers and staff to achieve student success
- Experience working with students with multiple disabilities
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check
Interview Process
- 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
- 30 mins-1 hrvirtual/in-person interview with school district
- Offer is typically within 24 hours of virtual interview
As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
