Job Description: Join our dynamic team as a Production Worker, where you'll play a crucial role in our Mattress Assembly, Material Handling, or Quilting department. Your tasks will vary, keeping your workday interesting and engaging.

Responsibilities:

  • Mattress Assembly: Use a variety of hand and power tools (e.g., c-ring hog-ring guns, staple guns, hot glue guns) to assemble mattresses.
  • Layering: Apply foam and upholstery layers to coil units, ensuring a perfect finish.
  • Inspection: Check mattress components and finished units for any flaws or defects.
  • Quilting: Work with fabrics to create beautiful borders and pillow tops for our mattresses.
  • Sewing: Operate sewing machines to craft pillow tops and sew fabrics together.
  • Material Handling: Cut, measure, and move materials using push carts, ensuring everything is ready for the next step in production.
  • Coordination: Review work instructions and move materials around the production area efficiently.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • At least 1 year of experience in hand tools and general assembly.
  • Experience in a warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing operations is a plus.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for at least 8 hours per day, with potential for overtime.
  • Strong ability to follow work instructions and ensure accuracy.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $ $17.00/hr.
