School Paraprofessional Lake Stevens, WA (Multiple Positions Available)

Join our team as a Paraprofessional in Lake Stevens, WA We have multiple full-time openings for paraprofessionals to support elementary students with autism spectrum disorders. This is a great opportunity for anyone passionate about working with children and helping them succeed in the classroom.

Position Highlights:
  • Location: Lake Stevens, WA
  • Dates: Full school year, ASAP
  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Caseload: 1:1 support for elementary students with autism
Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one support for students with autism in both specialized autism programs and general education classrooms
  • Assist with classroom activities, behavior management, and academic support
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure a positive and productive learning environment for students
  • Implement IEP goals and assist with daily routines
  • Support students with social-emotional learning and behavioral interventions
  • Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Previous experience with students with autism or in special education settings preferred
  • CPR/First Aid Certification (preferred)
  • Must be able to pass background checks as required by the district
  • Patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with children
Position Details:
  • Classroom: Elementary students in specialized autism program and general education
  • Hours per Week: Full-Time (35-40 hours/week)
  • Weekly Pay: Competitive, based on experience
