Position: Full-Time Paraprofessional
Location: Wausau, WI
Start Date: January 2024

We are currently looking for a Paraprofessional to provide 1:1 support for a student in an elementary school in Wausau, WI. This position involves assisting the student with academic tasks, behavioral management, and prompting. The role will start in January 2024 and offers the opportunity to work alongside a supportive educational team.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma (Required)
  • Experience with children in a classroom setting is preferred but not required
  • Positive attitude and willingness to help students succeed
  • Ability to work effectively with students with diverse learning needs
Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 support with academic tasks such as reteaching and preteaching
  • Assist with behavioral management to help the student stay engaged
  • Prompt and guide the student through lessons and activities
  • Collaborate with the classroom teacher to ensure the student's success
  • Encourage and support positive behavior
