Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Clerk - Clerical, Tool - Jr. Located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, this role is crucial to the smooth operations in the aerospace industry. The appointee will coordinate the movement of essential components within the production system, interacting directly with both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the movement of vital components within the production system.
• Track the status of individual parts both internally and at supplier locations.
• Expedite components through the system for immediate production use.
• Manage communication with external and internal customers.
• Utilize advanced MRP/ERP knowledge to optimize processes.
• Maintain excellent customer service while managing supplier relationships.
• Apply knowledge of inventory and lean principles in daily operations.
• Perform clerical duties efficiently and independently.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
• Adapt to a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends, to meet business needs.
• Employ strong organizational and time management skills to ensure smooth operations.• Proficiency in Customer Service is required.
• Applicant must possess strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
• The ability to handle materials effectively is necessary.
• Working knowledge of Production is essential.
• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is a must.
• Expected to perform Clerical Duties efficiently.
• Excellent Communication Skills are required.
• The candidate must be adept at Time Management.
• Experience in Component Selection would be beneficial.
• Willingness to work Overtime when necessary.
• Ability to interact effectively with Internal Customers.
• Knowledge of the Aerospace industry is an advantage.
• Familiarity with the MRP ERP System is a plus.
• Understanding of the Production System is required.
• Experience in Supplier Management is necessary.
• Knowledge of Lean Principles is advantageous.
