Job Details

Position Summary: We are seeking a proactive Cyber Security Analyst to join our team and ensure the protection of our organization’s critical information systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing security action plans, addressing vulnerabilities, coordinating risk assessments, and leading cybersecurity initiatives to mitigate threats. This role will also focus on promoting cybersecurity awareness through training, education, and communication, while managing responses to potential cyber-attacks and security issues.

Key Responsibilities:

CIS Action Plan Management: Develop, implement, and manage CIS (Center for Internet Security) action plans to maintain strong security postures across the organization.
Vulnerability Management: Identify vulnerabilities and coordinate the creation and execution of action plans to remediate and mitigate security risks.
Cybersecurity Education: Design and manage phishing awareness campaigns, cybersecurity training, and educational initiatives to enhance the organization's overall security awareness.
Incident Response: Manage the response to cyber-attacks or other cyber-related issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to minimize damage and prevent future occurrences.
Risk Assessments: Coordinate and conduct risk assessments for applications and sites, ensuring compliance with certifications and customer certification requests.
Cybersecurity Implementations: Lead and manage cybersecurity implementations for critical systems including MDR (Managed Detection and Response), EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response), Anti-Virus, and related security technologies.
Policy & Compliance Management: Oversee the development and enforcement of policies relating to Data Retention, Data Classification, Personal Information Protection, and GDPR compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, and incident response.
Strong understanding of CIS controls, cybersecurity frameworks, and best practices.
Familiarity with MDR, EDR, and anti-virus solutions, as well as data protection regulations such as GDPR.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to respond to and manage security incidents effectively.
Strong communication skills with experience managing training, educational campaigns, and internal security communications.
Experience in coordinating and conducting risk assessments and certification requests for security compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:

Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent.
Experience with GDPR, data classification, and information security management systems.
Hands-on experience with security technologies and tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, anti-virus software, and more).
