Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and MIG welding metal doors used for manholes, handholes, vaults, culverts, utility boxes, and storm water systems.

Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and MIG weld metal doors for various utility and storm water systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate welding and fabrication.
  • Perform TIG welding on stainless steel as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Essential Skills
  • 2-3+ years of welding experience
  • Competence in MIG welding
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Experience with TIG welding on stainless steel is a plus
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with fabrication
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently

Work Environment

The work environment includes a recently modified facility with a small warehouse/storage area, welding bays, assembly area, shop area, and break room. The facility is industrial, with temperatures varying from hot in the summer to cold in the winter, but it is well ventilated and fairly clean. The position is on the 1st shift, with start times from 5am-1:30pm or 6am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday.
