Job Description

Will be servicing Central KY area installing, troubleshooting, and repairing overhead doors and loading docks for commercial and industrial customers. This will involve traveling in a company truck (will not be driving first 90 days but be able to pass driving check for DOT) to site locations for service. Hours are typically 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM and working at least one Saturday/month (occasional Sunday).

Hard Skills
  • Evaluate faulty equipment and perform tasks necessary to ensure proper operation.
  • Maintain record of all service work and repairs performed within the electronic service record.
  • Work with Operations Manager to maximize labor revenue and efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean driving record, and drive safely from customer to customer.
  • Communicate with the parts and sales departments to ensure customer needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Perform work in a variety of environments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Operations.
Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Environment
  • Will be traveling on the road daily and working outside much of the time.
  • May be on a ladder up to 40 ft.
  • Physical job lifting up to 100 lbs. (they do have lifters and hoists to help but some of the equipment they install is large).
  • They are NOT allowed to take company truck home for personal use.
  • Will be responsible for making sure truck stays maintained.
