Position Overview:

As a full-time SLPA, you will collaborate with certified Speech-Language Pathologists to implement therapy plans, support students with speech and language goals, and foster a positive learning atmosphere. This role is essential in helping students develop essential munication skills, aiding their academic and social success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the delivery of speech and language therapy services to students.
  • Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) under the direction of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Conduct assessments and progress monitoring for student munication skills.
  • Create engaging materials and activities to enhance therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students munication needs in the classroom.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in munication Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field.
  • Current SLPA license or certification in Connecticut.
  • Experience working with children in a school setting is a plus.
  • Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for working with diverse student populations.
