School Paraprofessional Opportunity

ProCare Therapy is seeking School Paraprofessionals in Gettysburg, PAfor the upcoming school year. This is a great school district, with a welcoming and supportive environment.

The selected candidate will be hired on as a contracted employee through ProCare Therapy. A school year contract will be awarded for you to complete.

Job Description

  • Full time
  • You will be working in 1:1 setting with elementary school students.
  • These are not behavioral caseloads or implementing behavioral plans.
  • You will provide personal care to the student in the classroom such redirecting or assisting.
  • You will assist the teacher with daily tasks, run lessons as monitored by the teacher, monitor recess and lunch activities.
  • You will work with your assigned studentto help facilitate their learning experience throughout the day.

Job Requirements

  • Strong background in education
  • PA Clearances

Interview Process

  • 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
  • 20-30 minute virtual/in-person interview with school district
  • Offer is typically within 24 hours of virtual interview
