Status:Full Time, full school year
Caseload:Elementary
Pay Rate:Starting at $19/hr.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor students duringstructured and non-structuredactivities
  • Communicate necessary information to colleagues
  • Abide by and maintain compliance with all district, state, and federal requirements

Qualifications:

  • Arizona IVP card required to be considered.
  • ParaprofessionalCertification a plus.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Some College credit a plus.
  • Knowledge of positive behavior strategies & understanding students with special needs.
  • The ability to prioritize student learning needs over obstacles and barriers that can stand in theway of learning and student growth.
  • The strong desire and ability to build meaningful, caring relationships with students
  • The skill and willingness to learn and use student support systems to ensure that the social,emotional, nutritional, and health needs of all students are addressed.
  • The willingness to seek out knowledgeable peers and administrators for support andongoing.
