Job Description

Candidates will be working on databar units, power panels, and small mechanical power distribution units. The openings are in both the mechanical and electrical areas. Candidates may be in the mechanical (busway and tap off box assembly department) or electrical department. Will be assembling small units where mechanical skills are a must. Must be proficient with using hand and power tools and be mechanically inclined.

- Candidates will have to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings

- When assembling databar units, the components are comprised of metal parts and must be able to fasten, drill, attach, and assemble/build complete units

- Perform control wiring throughout the individual units if in the electrical area

- All candidates should be adaptable to all general labor duties as assigned, including stocking, inventory, or unwrapping raw materials

- Will be using hand and power tools to perform assembly

- Will be reading drawings to understand what part or replacement part is needed to assemble the finished products

- Must be able to work at a production pace as there is a daily goal for the number of units to be completed, which will vary each day

Hard Skills
  • Assembly: 1-3 years of assembly or similar experience using hand/power tools to put things together or take them apart
  • Wiring: Ideal experience having 1 year of wiring
  • Measurement: Tape measure reading and bonus if blueprint or schematic reading
