Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator for our 2nd shift to oversee various operations including Alpma machines, brine systems, filling forms, and ensuring cleanliness and sanitation in compliance with our high standards. The role involves managing and operating specific machinery in the production line, following all safety, sanitation, and production procedures, ensuring accurate record-keeping and quality control, and communicating effectively with team members and management.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and operate specific machinery in the production line.
  • Oversee operations of Alpma machines and brine systems.
  • Fill forms and ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met.
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and production procedures.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and quality control.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Perform change overs and troubleshoot machinery issues.
Essential Skills
  • 2+ years of Machine Operating experience (GMP preferred).
  • Experience with packaging machine operation.
  • Skills in adjusting feeds and speeds.
  • Proficiency in performing change overs and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of GMP standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in filling machines.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and quality control.

Work Environment

Our facility is clean and temperature controlled, ensuring a comfortable work environment with no refrigeration. The facility has a pleasant aroma and features modern equipment, the oldest being just 5 years old. Training is provided from 9am-5pm for one week. The 2nd shift operates from 4pm-4am, transitioning to a standard 8-hour schedule (2pm-10:30pm) starting October 28th, 2024.
