Job Description

The Production Technician I is responsible for the inspection, labeling, and packaging of finished drug product. The Production Technician will execute these tasks manually or will be responsible for operating equipment that performs these functions. Key responsibilities include:

- Regular and predictable onsite attendance and punctuality

- Performing visual inspection of drug product in accordance with SOPs and cGMPs as required

- Conducting manual labeling and packaging functions as required

- Setting up, maintaining, and operating various pieces of computerized and manual inspection/labeling/packaging equipment as required

- Performing daily/weekly/monthly cleaning of the Production areas per internal SOPs

- Maintaining the quality of machine output and product integrity

- Keeping a clean and organized production environment

- Completing and maintaining applicable logbook and batch record paperwork abiding by Good Documentation Practices (GDPs) as required

- Escalating both machine and manual deviations to the area supervisor or designee

- Providing peer training on all Production-related procedures as required

- Identifying, segregating, and reporting defective product to management, assuming accountability of final product

- Performing other related duties as determined by management personnel

Minimum two (2) years cGMP manufacturing experience required. The employee may be required to lift 5 – 40 pounds and stand continually throughout the shift. The job involves frequent bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and lifting. This is a contract position with a duration of 520 hours.

This is a fully on-site position in North Brunswick, New Jersey. First shift, working 8 hours between 6am and 4pm. The noise level of the job environment is moderate. Hearing protection is provided and may be required at times.
