Hiring RRT- Multiple Locations (Gainesville / Kissimmee/ Ocala)
Job summary:
- Knowledge of patient responses, side effects and proper dosages of medications used in respiratory care.
- Able to communicate effectively with Physicians, patients, managers and the publics. Ability to teach/instruct, assess and reassess others.
- Able to recognize and report abuse and neglect in patients. Knowledge of generally accepted practices in respiratory care as prescribed by the physician.
- Delivers, set-up, and maintains routine and non-routine therapies and equipment (i.e., oxygen, aerosol therapy, ventilators) utilized by Respiratory Therapy.
- Ability to perform and interpret Arterial Blood Gases.
Qualifications:
- 1yr min of RRT exp required (ICU, CVICU, NICU, PICU, Critical care unit)
- (Would consider those with home care and/or long-term care experience)
- FL State Respiratory License
- NBRC – RRT/CRT
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
- ACLS- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- NRP - Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- PALS - Paediatric Adv Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
SIGN ON: $25k for Both Evenings and Nights
Shift Diffs: Nights: $3.25 & Weekend: $2
