Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Onsite Role: In-Person Only
Certification: State Certification Required
Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Special Education (or similar)

Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is hiring a passionate Special Education Teacher to work full-time in Colusa, CA. This is a permanent position where you will be working onsite with students who have a variety of special needs. If you are dedicated to providing a high-quality education to students with disabilities and hold the necessary state certification, we would love to hear from you

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
  • Provide specialized instruction based on students' individual needs.
  • Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and staff to ensure students success.
  • Track and report student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
  • Maintain a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, and other school-related activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Current state certification in Special Education.
  • Prior experience working with students with special needs is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
