We are currently seeking a dynamic, results-driven Permanent Executive Director to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead and manage a complex organization across banking, retail, and home building sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in these industries, with a proven track record of success. The Permanent Executive Director will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of the organization, leading a high-performing team, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. This role requires a high degree of interpersonal skills, a professional demeanor, and exceptional relationship-building abilities.

Job Details



Responsibilities:

1. Provide visionary and strategic leadership to the organization, setting the overall strategic direction and ensuring alignment with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
2. Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive business strategies and plans.
3. Lead and manage a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and the community.
5. Ensure financial sustainability and growth of the organization, overseeing all financial operations and making data-driven financial decisions.
6. Represent the organization in the banking, retail, and home building sectors, enhancing the organization's profile and reputation.
7. Promote an inclusive, diverse, and equitable working environment, demonstrating a commitment to diversity and inclusion in all aspects of the organization.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 10+ years of senior leadership experience in a complex organization, preferably within the banking, retail, or home building sectors.
2. Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and execution, financial management, and team leadership.
3. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
4. A professional demeanor, with the ability to represent the organization in a variety of settings.
5. Proven experience in relationship building, with a track record of successfully building and maintaining partnerships.
6. Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of the business dynamics in the banking, retail, and home building sectors.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate the organization's mission, vision, and values.
8. A commitment to diversity and inclusion, with experience promoting an inclusive, diverse, and equitable working environment.
9. An undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is required. An MBA or other relevant post-graduate degree is preferred.
