Position: Special Education Teacher
Location: Sheboygan, WI
Grade Levels: Middle and High School
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to work with middle and high school students in Wisconsin. This role is focused on fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment tailored to meet the diverse needs of students. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and a commitment to ensuring each students academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver individualized instruction plans based on students' unique learning needs.
- Create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff and families.
- Adapt general education curriculum to support diverse learning styles.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as necessary to achieve goals.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes emotional and academic growth.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and administrators to integrate accommodations and modifications effectively.
- Provide guidance and support to students with behavioral, social, and emotional challenges.
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid Wisconsin Special Education Teaching License (required).
- Experience with middle and high school students preferred.
- Proficiency in creating and managing IEPs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with students, families, and colleagues.
- A dedication to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.
